Malatya Turgut Özal University Department of Performing Arts was established with the mission of training creative and disciplined artists. Our department aims to bring students to the highest level of artistic expression by offering a comprehensive education in the basic disciplines of performing arts (acting, theater history, voice and speech, movement, improvisation).
By offering both theoretical and practical training to its students, our department educates them as well-equipped artists who can take an active part not only on stage but also in creative processes. Our curriculum offers a wide range of knowledge and experience from traditional theater methods to contemporary approaches, giving students the opportunity to create their own artistic language.
As the Department of Performing Arts, we aim to provide students with a unique educational environment. With our experienced academic staff and expert guest lecturers from the industry, we aim to provide our students with a strong professional background. In addition, our department supports students to increase their sectoral experience by providing opportunities to participate in national and international stage projects.
